ArtWalk: Art in Motion Friday, May 9, 6:30-8pm, Gym The Art Walk is your opportunity to see artwork from Lakeview's own student artists. They may not be famous yet but their work sure is spectacular! Every child will have his or her artwork on display. Please join us for this free, fun family event which includes snacks, art activities, and guest artists. Our three guest artists are:  Jeff Johnson, cartoonist, Carol Belval, who works in ceramics, and Julie Hammerquist, painter.   Yearbooks Can't remember if you ordered a yearbook? Check the list. Questions: contact Shelley. Family Disco Night Friday, May 30, 6:30-8:30pm The Lakeview Family Disco Dance Night is coming and you don't want to miss it! Our favorite DJ, Galen, will be back to teach our kids dance moves during week so they can strut their stuff at the free dance on Friday night. Come with your dancing shoes on! Snow cones and pizza will be available for purchase. Book Fair The annual Scholastic Book Fair starts May 30. Volunteers are needed to help make it a success by running a cash register or assisting students find books. Pick a shift and email Kathleen to be part of this fun event for kids and parents!
